# Tips & tricks

#### Selecting the corresponding paragraph in the DOCX-file

You can **click on the arrow at the left of a paragraph** to select (and scroll to) that same paragraph within your opened MS Word document.

*Note that that arrow is not visible by default, so you have to move your mouse into the empty space at the left of a paragraph in order to see the arrow appear.*

#### Undo changes

You can **undo & redo** modifications within Bracketeer by using the undo/redo buttons in the right corners of the screen.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note that, unfortunately, the undo & redo system of Bracketeer is completely separate from the undo & redo system of MS Word (i.e., your opened document that is shown on the left side). If you want to undo changes applied to your MS Word document, you must either press Ctrl-Z while your cursor is position in the opened document, or use the undo buttons in the MS Word toolbar.
{% endhint %}

#### Seeing remaining todos

Bracketeer shows the number of **not-yet-implemented brackets and highlights** in the bottom left corner of the screen.

#### Changing placeholder text

When you fill in a placeholder (highlighted text), that text will get a light green background. You can still change that text by clicking on it again.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.clausebuddy.com/bracketeer/how/in-depth/tips-and-tricks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
