User rights overview

This page provides an overview of all available user rights in ClauseBuddy and explains what each permission allows users to access or manage. Use this overview to better understand the different rights and assign the appropriate permissions to each user.

USER RIGHTS	EXPLANATION
General
Edit attribute models	Allows the user to create and edit new attributes, which serve as custom filters when creating clauses for the Clause Library.
Generative AI	Allows the use of Generative AI in ClauseBuddy. Only the features that are not build upon AI will be accessible (without any AI options).
Manage folders	Allows the user to manage the folders of which they have access. Managing means ordering, editing, etc.
Translate using Deepl	Features where no AI is used, use DeeplPro for translation purposes. If this right is deactivated, no translation is possible in for example the Quality Library.

Quality Library
Add new clause	Allows the user to create and save new clauses for the libraries they have access to.
Browse clauses	Allows the user to browse for clauses in the library they have access to.
Change existing clauses	Allows the user to edit existing clauses.
Change file status	Allows the user to edit the status of a clause.
Change file status comment	Allows the user to edit the comment linked to the applied status of the clause.
Email clause	Allows the user to send a clause via mail to any recipient so they can look into the clause that the user forwarded.
Search by keyword	Allows the user to search for clauses using keywords rather than manual browsing.
Send clause to curator	Allows the user to send clauses to the assigned curator(s) of the organisation, so the curator can review, delete, adjust or save the proposed clause to the library.

Samples Hunt	Allows the user to use the Samples Hunt feature.
Similar Clauses	Allows the user to use the Similar Clauses feature.

Generative AI
AutoPolish	Allows the user to use the Polish Text feature.
Checklists	Allows the user to use the Checklists feature.

Smart Merge clauses	Allows the user to Smart Merge clauses.
Summarise Changes	Allows the user to use the Summarise Changes feature.

Document Analysis
Apply document reviews	Allows the user to review the active document with the Playbooks they have access to.
Bracketeer	Allows the user to use the Bracketeer feature.
Bulk Compare	Allows the user to use the Bulk Compare feature.
Bulk Operations	Allows the user to use the Bulk Operations feature.
Deep Compare	(This feature no longer exists)
Document Cleanup	Allows the user to use the Document Cleanup feature.
Manage Document reviews	Allows the user to create, edit and manage playbooks.
Proofreading & Definitions	Allows the user to use the Proofreading and Definitions features.
Publish Bulk Operations Sets	Allows the user to use the Bulk Operations feature.
Review Automation	(Feature doesn’t exist yet)
Text Compare	Allows the user to use the Text Compare feature.

Smart Templates
Download Excel-file to prepare batch creation	Allows the user to download and fill out an Excel file for the questionnaire.
Edit Templates	Allows the user to create new and edit Smart Templates.
Share templates & documents	Allows the user to generate a link for non-ClauseBuddy users to fill out the questionnaire.
Upload Excel-file for batch creation	Allows the user to upload the filled out Excel-file to generate multiple files at once.
Use templates & documents	Allows the user to fill out the created questionnaires.

Others
Add other subscriptions	Allows the user to switch between accounts (if they have access to the respective accounts).
Apply legal guides	This feature no longer exists.
Edit legal guides	This feature no longer exists.
Switch to linked accounts	Allows the user to switch to a linked account as configured by the Admin.
